“Greatest Hits”  es la colección definitiva del gran Billy Idol. Publicado en el año 2001, contiene temazos del rubio como “Dancing With Myself”(Generation X), “Rebel Yell” o “White Whedding”. En total son 16 canciones, entre ellas una nueva composición titulada “Don´t You(Forget About Me)”. El inglés mutó del Punk de sus comienzos con Generation X a una suerte de Rock con tintes New Wave que le encumbró a lo más alto de las listas. Sin ir más lejos, éste mismo título fue disco de platino. Grande.

Producido por Butch Walker (Green Day, Weezer) y con la participación de Steve Stevens, guitarrista principal y colaborador habitual de Idol desde hace mucho tiempo, “The Roadside” fue concebido, grabado y mezclado casi por completo bajo la sombra de la pandemia.

Este EP de cuatro canciones es el primer lanzamiento de Idol en el sello recién relanzado Dark Horse Records, un sello creado en 1974 por George Harrison y dirigido ahora por su hijo Dhani Harrison y David Zonshine.
