Edición especial con cuatro temas extra del álbum debut de la banda estadounidense procedente de Long Island (Nueva York) Blue Öyster Cult. Lanzado originalmente en 1972 por Columbia Records fue producido por Murray Krugman (The Dictators, Pavlov’s Dog) y Sandy Pearlman (The Clash, Mahavisnu Orchestra) y contiene las 10 canciones de la grabación original remasterizadas por Bruce Dickinson, entre ellas cañonazos como como «Transmaniacon MC» o «Cities On Flame with Rock and Roll». Reeditado en el año 2001 Legacy Records/Sony Music, incluye 4 demos muy especiales.
The band toured with artists such as The Byrds, Alice Cooper and the Mahavishnu Orchestra to support the album, which received a positive reaction from critics. The Village Voice called it «the tightest and most musical hard rock record since – dare I say it – Who’s Next».
