Lanzado originalmente en 1962 Chet Baker publicó éste «Chet is Back!» con la colaboración de varios músicos europeos, entre ellos dos estrellas belgas: el saxofonista tenor, flautista y compositor Bobby Jaspar y el guitarrista René Thomas. «Chet is Back!» muestra al trompetista desplegando todo su potencial en temas de inspiración be-bop como «Pent-Up House», la inicial «Well, You Needen’t» o el injustamente olvidado clásico de Baker «Over The Rainbow». Grabado en Roma junto a los productores Daniel Baumgarten y Joshua Sherman, incluye 8 canciones. Publicado en CD por el sello Hallmark en 2014.

Chet Baker released Chet Is Back! in 1962. He was accompanied on the LP by a number of highly talented European players, among them two Belgian stars: tenor saxophonist, flutist and composer Bobby Jaspar, and guitarist René Thomas. Matt Collar gave the LP a four-star rating in All Music Guide. Collar wrote “Chet Is Back! Showcases the ‘cool’ trumpeter cutting loose on such bop-oriented workouts as ‘Pent-Up House’ and ‘Well, You Needn’t’. One listen to ‘Over the Rainbow’ and it’s clear this is an overlooked Baker classic.” The album is part of the Jean-Pierre Leloir 180 gram vinyl Collection,
