Edición original española en vinilo de segunda mano en buen estado de ‘Electric Savage’ del supergrupo británico de jazz rock progresivo Colosseum II. Publicado en 1977 por MCA Records, la formación de Colosseum II estaba integrada por nada menos que Don Airey (teclados), Gary Moore (guitarra, voz), John Hiseman (batería) y John Mole (bajista). Contiene 8 canciones y fue producido por el mismo baterista de la banda John Hiseman.
The album featured the ‘classic’ Colosseum line-up of Jon Hiseman (Drums), Dave Greenslade (organ & vibes), Dick Heckstall-Smith (Saxophones), Dave ‘Clem’ Clempson (Guitar, Vocals), Chris Farlowe (Vocals) and Mark Clarke (bass).
Recorded at concerts in Manchester and Brighton in March 1971, the album showcased the band at the peak of their powers on stage. ‘Colosseum Live’ would also be the final album of the 1970s by the group.
Four decades on, ‘Colosseum Live’ remains one of the band’s seminal releases, a fine combination of rock, jazz and blues.
