El próximo 27 de Junio de 2025 se publica por primera vez en vinilo «Unforgiving Mistress», segundo disco estudio de Corb Lund Band. Lanzado originalmente en 1999 por el sello canadiense Outside Music, Corb Lund alternaba su trabajo con la banda The Smalls y éste proyecto más orientado al country/folk de raíces, debutando con «Modern Pain» (1995). «Unforgiving Mistress» contiene 11 canciones producidas por Steve Loree (The City Strips, SNFU) que fueron grabadas con un presupuesto de apenas 1.200 dólares en un pequeño estudio de Edmonton. Edición limitada que forma parte del Club Corb Lund Dark Horses, será publicado por New West Records.

Unforgiving Mistress was originally released in 1999 and will finally get its due with its first vinyl pressing. From songs about morality to the rare Corb Lund love song, Unforgiving Mistress is packed with Corb’s classic storytelling and songwriting. “This record was my second as the Corb Lund Band and I was still in The Smalls when it was released. It was a major step forward from Modern Pain in terms of songwriting, arrangement and recording quality for me.
