Lanzado en 1988 por RCA Records «The Trinity Session» es el título del segundo trabajo de estudio de la banda canadiense formada en Toronto The Cowboy Junkies. Producido por Peter Moore (The Mahones, Holly Cole) el álbum combina material original del conjunto con versiones de clásicos del folk, el rock y el country, incluyendo su single más conocido: la versión de «Sweet Jane» de The Velvet Underground.
