Reeditado en 2018 por Columbia Records «Dylan & The Dead» recoge 7 canciones grabadas en directo dentro de la gira conjunta que ofrecieron Bob Dylan y Grateful Dead en 1987. Producido por el vocalista y guitarrista de los Dead Jerry Garcia y John Cutler (Gov’t Mule, The Barry Sisters y colaborador habitual en muchos discos de los protagonistas) fue lanzado oficialmente en 1989 por la misma discográfica.

Dylan & The Dead by Dylan, Bob, And The Grateful D, released 12 July 2018, includes the following tracks: «Gotta Serve Somebody», «Joey», «Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door» and more. This version of Dylan & The Dead comes as a 1xLP. The vinyl is pressed as a opaque disc. Workingmans’s Dead by Grateful Dead, released 30 October 2020, includes the following tracks: «Dire Wolf», «Cumberland Blues», «Easy Wind» and more. This version of Workingmans’s Dead comes as a 1xCD.

In 1970, the Grateful Dead pulled off a feat that that few bands ever achieve, and incredibly, they did it twice. After June 1970’s release of Workingman’s Dead, the Dead had arrived. An album that would remain in the upper echelon of Rolling Stone’s «best albums of all-time» lists for the next 50 years, the world now knew about the Dead.
