Publicado en el año 2003 por Sanctuary Records «Zig Zag» es el título del sexto trabajo de estudio del guitarrista y compositor estadounidense de rock procedente de Brooklyn Earl Slick. Incansable colaborador en álbumes de artistas como David Bowie, John Waite, John Lennon o Carl Perkins, Slick siempre sacaba tiempo entre giras y participaciones en discos y éste «Zig Zag» es otra muestra del nivel que gastaba Earl con la seis cuerdas. El disco contiene 10 canciones y cuenta con las colaboraciones vocales del propio Bowie, Robert Smith de The Cure, Joe Elliot de Def Leppard y Martha Davis de The Motels.
