Edición en doble vinilo con grabado en cara D del segundo disco de «EBM», séptimo trabajo de estudio de la banda británica de indie rock alternativo procedente de Birmingham Editors. «EBM» es un paso adelante, un impulso emocionante, avanzado e implacable de una formación que nunca se ha quedado creativamente. El título del álbum de «Editors» y «Blanck Mass», pero también una referencia consciente a Electronic Body Music, el potente sonido que se originó en los años 80 y que ha influido enormemente en el nuevo material de los Editors, donde los sintetizadores de bandas como Nitzer Ebb, Front 242 o DAF martillean oscuramente entre máquinas de humo, luces estroboscópicas y olor a cuero.

El nuevo álbum será el primero con el reciente fichaje Benjamin John Power, significando que, por primera vez, las estructuras de las canciones no provenían del líder Tom Smith siendo la formación casi al completo los que jugaron y desarrollaron cada uno de los temas.

A band who have never stood still creatively, EBM is a breathlessly heavy step up and Editors’ most leftfield material yet – a thrilling, unrelenting thrust of full-bodied electro-industrial rock. The album title is an acronym of Editors and Blanck Mass but also a knowing reference to Electronic Body Music, the potent sound that originated in the 1980s and which has hugely influenced Editors’ new material, where the synths of bands like Nitzer Ebb, Front 242 and DAF hammer darkly amongst smoke machines, strobe lights and the smell of leather. The new album will be the first with new band member Benjamin John Power, aka Blanck Mass.
