Publicado en el año 2002 por Eagle Rock Entertainment «Lucky Man» es el título de ésta compilación del trío británico procedente de Londres Emerson Lake & Palmer. Con una trayectoria espectacular y más de 35 millones de discos vendidos, Keith Emerson, Greg Lake y Carl Palmer se convirtieron en una de las formaciones más populares y significativas del Rock Progresivo a base de enormes y llamativos conciertos y álbumes conceptuales como «Tarkus» (1971). «Lucky Man» contiene 12 canciones con algo más de 70 minutos de duración e incluye títulos imprescindibles de su discografía como «Karn Evil», «Hoedown» o la suite «Fanfare For The Common Man/Blue Ronda A La Turk».
Formed in 1970, Emerson, Lake & Palmer were torchbearers of the Progressive Rock sound and one of Rock’s first super-groups. The world-conquering, stadium-filling prog giants helped to broaden the audience for the genre from hundreds of thousands into tens of millions and were one the most commercially successful Rock bands of the 1970s.
