Dos años después de su último álbum, ‘Chloë and the Next 20th Century’, Father John Misty (de nombre real Joshua Tillman), figura del indie rock, magnífico crooner alternativo y predicador de un estilo americano a caballo entre el folk y el country, el jazz y el blues, regresa con su sexto álbum, titulado ‘Mahashmashana’. Ha sido producido por el propio Josh Tillman, Drew Erickson y Jonathan Wilson y contiene 8 canciones entre ellas los singles «Screamland» y «She Cleans Up».
