Reeditado en 2018 por Omnivore Recordings «At Your Birthday Party» es el título de éste álbum en directo de la banda estadounidense formada en la ciudad de Marietta (Georgia) Guadalcanal Diary. Formados en 1981, hermanados con REM y ése toque distintivo de jangle pop, rock alternativo y actitud punk, Guadalcanal Diary firman éste último disco en vivo como epitafio a una discografía con 5 LP’s y varios singles editados. Grabado en Smith’s Olde Bar de Atlanta durante los días 23 y 24 de enero de 1998, contiene 16 canciones del cuarteto integrado por Murray Attaway (voz, guitarra), Jeff Walls (guitarra), Rhett Crowe (bajo) y John Poe (batería).
First worldwide release of classic 1999 live album. Packaging featuring updated artwork and new liner notes from the band’s Murray Attaway. Guadalcanal Diary exploded on the scene in 1985 when the previous year’s ‘Walking In The Shadow Of The Big Man’ was issued. ‘At Your Birthday Party’ was self-released as a thank you to “Guadal fans everywhere.”
