Producido por Michael Vail Blum (Redd Kross, Low) y el cuarteto integrado por el vocalista de Suicidal Tendencies Mike Muir, el bajista Robert Trujillo (Suicidal Tendencies, Metallica), Dean Pleasants (guitarra) y Adam Siegel (guitarra) contiene 10 canciones entre ellas temazos como «Violent & Funky», «Boom Boom Boom» o «Groove Family Cyco».
“The Plague That Makes Your Booty Move… It’s the Infectious Grooves” was the debut album by Infectious Grooves. The Infectious Grooves were a funk-metal side project of Suicidal Tendencies members Mike Muir and (Metallica bassist) Robert Trujillo, and Jane’s Addiction drummer Steve Perkins. Thrashy guitar leads, rapid-fire slapped/popped bass, an even blend of funk music and heavy metal, all with Mike Muir’s attitude and sense of humor giving it a fun, snarky, and smack-talking vibe. This album provides a nice taste of fun heavy funk with more than enough energy to keep things going strong all throughout. It’s good stuff to just cut loose with. The song «Therapy» featured vocals from Ozzy Osbourne.
