Publicado en el año 2020 por dBpm Records «Love Is The King» es el título del cuarto trabajo de estudio en solitario del vocalista y guitarrista de Wilco Jeff Tweedy. La continuación de «Warm» (2018), «Warmer» (2019) y su segundo libro «How To Write One Song» es una oda hermosamente honesta al amor y la esperanza, tal y como describe el propio Tweedy: «Al principio del confinamiento empecé a escribir canciones country para consolarme. Las formas del folk y el country son las que me resultan más fáciles y reconfortantes. Guess Again es un buen ejemplo del éxito que estaba teniendo al alejarme del mundo y valorar mi buena fortuna por tener amor en mi vida. O Love is the King, más desgastada, con mucho más miedo invadiendo mi mente pero con esperanza, descubriendo los límites de mi propia capacidad para tranquilizarme».

Out on dBpm Records, Love Is The King, a “beautifully honest ode to love and hope,” is the follow-up to 2018’s WARM and 2019’s WARMER, and comes on the heels of Tweedy’s second book, How To Write One Song, out October 13th via Penguin Random House’s Dutton. “At the beginning of the lockdown I started writing country songs to console myself. Folk and country type forms being the shapes that come most easily to me in a comforting way.
