Como front-woman tenemos a Miss Koko-Jean Davis (excantante en The Excitements). Tal como te puede conmover con una balada o con la crudeza de un blues, puede hacer subir la temperatura en unos segundos con su rock’n’roll y soul.

Koko-Jean & The Tonics’ second album modernizes their classic approach by delving into the pure soul sound and the social and musical atmosphere of the 70s. There are essentially danceable songs, like ‘The Spin’, others that are more romantic and slow-burning, like ‘Never Ever’, and pieces that transport us to Brooklyn in the 60s and 70s, like the protesting ‘Frank’s Zone’ or the nostalgic ‘Love Child’.
