Publicado en el año 2022 por Epic Records «Omens»·es el título del undécimo trabajo de estudio de la banda estadounidense procedente de Richmond (Virginia) Lamb of God. Arquitectos de la Nueva Ola del Heavy Metal se han ganado una reverencia similar a la que tuvieron en su día «antepasados» musicales y compañeros de viaje como Metallica, Slayer o Megadeth. Para millones de headbangers, Lamb of God es simplemente la banda de Metal contemporáneo más importante del mundo. Junto al productor Josh Wilbur (Megadeth, Korn, Avenged Sevenfold) regresaban al estudio tras dos años desde el anterior álbum, de título homónimo, con 10 nuevas canciones compuestas por el quinteto integrado por Randy Blythe (voz), los guitarristas Willie Adler y Mark Morton, Art Cruz (batería, percusión) y John Campbell (bajo).

The momentum continues with Omens, arguably the band’s most aggressive and ambitious yet. The hardcore fire at the heart of Lamb Of God still burns as hot as the 12-foot flames blazing the stages on their co-headlining trek with Megadeth, appropriately called «The Metal Tour of the Year.» Even as the state of the world descends, the state of the union for Lamb Of God remains strong.
