Publicado en Julio del 2023 por Nonesuch Records «City of Gold» es el título del cuarto trabajo de estudio de Mollu Tuttle & Golden Highway. Tras el aclamado debut de Molly con el sello con el disco «Crooked Tree» (2022), premio Grammy al mejor álbum de bluegrass, «City of Gold» vuelve a maravillar con 13 nuevas canciones producidas por Jerry Douglas (Alison Krauss, John Fogerty) y la propia Tuttle. 13 canciones que cuentan historias de su infancia, melodías de violín, El Dorado, colinas polvorientas y mineros canosos. Un recorrido explorando lugares mágicos pero reales, una voz cautivadora y unos Golden Highway absolutamente descomunales.
City of Gold follows Tuttle’s acclaimed 2022 Nonesuch debut Crooked Tree, which won Best Bluegrass Album at the 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards. Tuttle was also one of this year’s ‘Best New Artist’ GRAMMY nominees.
The new album was produced by Tuttle and Jerry Douglas, and recorded at Nashville’s Sound Emporium Studios. Alongside Douglas (dobro) and Tuttle’s road-tested, ace bluegrass band Golden Highway – Bronwyn Keith-Hynes (fiddle, harmony vocals), Dominick Leslie (mandolin), Shelby Means (bass, harmony vocals) and Kyle Tuttle (banjo, harmony vocals) – City of Gold
