Reedición en vinilo por el 20 Aniversario de su publicación de «Cocaine Rodeo», álbum debut de la banda norteamericana de stoner rock liderada por Nick Oliveri Mondo Generator. Lanzado originalmente en el año 2000 por Southern Lord Records, Heavy Psych Sounds vuelve a publicar el disco en 2020 con las 10 canciones de la grabación original, entre ellas trallazos como «13th Floor», «Uncle Tommy» o «Dead Insects». Producido por el propio Oliveri, entre los miembros de la formación que grabaron ésta rodaja encontramos a Josh Homme (QOTSA), Chris Goss (Masters of Reality), Brant Bjork (Kyuss) o UP N. Syder (Karma to Burn).

Cocaine Rodeo is an album by Mondo Generator, released in 2020. Cocaine Rodeo includes a.o. the following tracks: “13th Floor”, “Uncle Tommy”, “Dead Insects”, “Cocaine Rodeo” and more. Mondo Generator are back! A mixture of speed rock, American punk and hardcore with the typical Oliveri style. You can hear the old school roots of Black Flag and Dead Kennedys with a pinch of heavy rock and sometimes shades of stoner. You can feel the dust and the sand of the Californian desert mixed with the rotten smell of a dirty basement used as venue! The songwriting is never ordinary and keeps the listener alive for the duration of the entire album. The vocal melodies are always interesting and give the music its trademark sound. You can definitely hear the punk attitude of QOTSA with whom Nick played for long time.
