«By The Way» es el octavo trabajo de estudio de los californianos Red Hot Chili Peppers. Nuevamente producido por ése grande de la ingeniería musical llamado Rick Rubin y concebido en los estudios Cello de Los Ángeles. Fue publicado en el 2002 y a partir de aquí, nos damos de bruces con ésa nueva versión de los Peppers. Poquito del Funk de su primera época y aún menos de los ramalazos y trallazos Punk con que nos despeinaban en sus primeros discos.

«By The Way» contiene momentos todoterreno como «Can´t Stop» o la inicial «By The Way». ‘Return of the Dream Canteen’ marks the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ second album release of 2022, hot on the heels of the platinum-selling chart topper ‘Unlimited Love’ which was released in April. It will also be the band’s second Rick Rubin produced album of 2022, and reinforces their reputation as a band at their absolute peak, riding the crest of an undeniable creative wave.
