Edición especial por el 50 Aniversario de su lanzamiento del álbum debut de título homónimo del guitarrista, vocalista y compositor irlandés de blues rock Rory Gallagher. Tras publicar dos discos aclamados por la crítica con su primera banda Taste, Rory pasaba página y emprendía en solitario con éste maravilloso trabajo, editado originalmente en 1971 por Polydor Records. Gallagher audicionó a algunos de los mejores músicos disponibles en ése momento, incluídos Noel Redding y Mitch Mitchell, bajista y baterista de The Jimi Hendrix Experience pero se decantó por dos músicos de Belfast: Wilgar Campbell a las baquetas y Gerry McAvoy al bajo.

«Rory Gallagher» fue grabado en Advision Studios de Londres y contiene las 10 canciones de la grabación original, con icónicos temas de su carrera como «Laundromat», «I Fall Apart» o «Sinner Boy». Un segundo compacto con 18 tomas alternativas adorna uno de los mejores debuts de la década de los 70. Publicado por Universal Music en septiembre del 2021.
