Reeditado en CD por Polydor Records en 2006 «The Head On The Door» es el título del sexto trabajo de estudio de la banda británica procedente de la ciudad de Crawley The Cure. Lanzado originalmente en 1985 por Fiction Records contiene 10 canciones compuestas por el quinteto formado por Robert Smith, Simon Gallup, Boris Williams, Lol Tolhurst y Porl Thompson, entre ellas los singles «Close to Me», «In Between Days» y «The Blood».

Recorded in 1981, this classic album took the band further down the road of despair, initiated with Seventeen Seconds, with an album full of mournful atmospheric tracks, including their hit single, ‘Primary.’ Includes 6 bonus tracks in a deluxe gatefold 180 gram 2LP version.
