Reeditado por Music On Vinyl en 2016.

Trucks officially formed The Derek Trucks Band in 1996. The album Joyful Noise features guests including his wife Susan Tedeschi (with who he formed The Tedeschi Trucks Band in 2010), Rahat Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and soul artist Solomon Burke. Derek is best known for his slide guitar style and plays an eclectic blend of blues, soul, jazz, rock and world music.

Third studio album for the American guitarist, songwriter, husband of Susan Tedeschi and Allman Brothers (family) member since 1999. Before his 20th birthday he had shared the stage with the likes as Joe Walsh, Bob Dylan and Stephen Stills. ‘Joyful Noise’ features an eclectic mix, ranging from Gospel, Jazz Fusion and Latin to East Indian music. Special guests on the album includes Susan Tedeschi, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan (nephew of Nusrat), Rubén Blades and Solomon Burke. Derek Trucks shows once more what an incredible guitarist and songwriter he is.
