Reeditado en 2017 en vinilo de 180 gramos por Vinyl Passion ‘College Concert’ es el título de éste álbum en directo de The Kingston Trio. Grabado en vivo en la Universidad de California, Los Angeles, en Diciembre de 1961, cuenta con las 12 canciones de la grabación original de la formación integrada por Bob Shane, Nick Reynolds y John Stewart, además de la colaboración de David «Buck» Wheat como bajista. Se añaden tres bonus tracks del disco ‘New Frontier’ grabado en 1962, entre ellas ‘Greenback Dollar’.

The Kingston Trio was a Folk-Pop group founded in the San Francisco bay area in the late fifties and were one of the most prominent groups of the U.S. at the time. ’College Concert’, recorded at Los Angeles’ University of California is one of the best-selling LP’s ever recorded by the Kingston Trio. Including three bonus tracks, such as ’Greenback Dollar’.
