Tras el exitazo que supuso el álbum debut «Broken Boy Soldiers» (2006), la superbanda integrada por Jack White, Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence y Patrick Keeler regresaba al estudio para grabar estas 14 nuevas canciones entre las que incluye una suprema versión del «Rich Kid Blues», del vocalista y guitarrista británico Terry Reid.
