Lanzado originalmente en 1988 «Vol 1» es el título del álbum debut de la all-star band Traveling Wilburys. Bob Dylan, Jeff Lynne, Tom Petty, Roy Orbison y George Harrison unen fuerzas y junto a Jim Keltner (batería) protagonizan uno de los momentos más emotivos de finales de los 80 con éste disco que registraron bajo diferentes seudónimos, consiguiendo despachar más de dos millones de copias del álbum, obteniendo el Grammy a la Mejor Interpretación de Rock e incluyendo dos éxitos notables como «Handle With Care» y «End of the Line». Un precioso álbum donde cada uno aporta su talento, con el que disfrutaron enormemente, ensombrecido por la muerte de Orbison tan sólo dos meses después de su lanzamiento.. Reeditado en 2007 por Concord Bicycle Music/Willbury Records.
