“Columbia Years” recopila en una caja de 6 Cds la trayectoria del grupo de jazz rock y fusion Weather Report en la era con Jaco Pastorius. Los discos incluídos son Black Market (1976), Heavy Weather (1977), Mr. Gone (1978), 8:30 (1979), Night Passage (1980) y Weather Report (1982). Cada disco presenta ilustraciones reproducidas en el frente y reverso y contiene 12 bonus tracks incluídos los cortes de la compilación Live and Unreleased del 2002. Y un libreto de 20 páginas que incluye los créditos completos canción por canción y datos de las sesiones.
